The greedy jackal

Once a hungry jackal was wandering in search of food. suddenly he noticed a boar who was being chased by a hunter. The hunter targeted the boar and slot the arrow. The arrow hit the boar in his stomach.The wounded boar cried in pain and counter attacked the hunter with his tusk. the hunter was not prepared for this sudden attack and fell down. The angry boar forcefully hit the hunter with his sharp tusk and wounded him too.

The hunter and the boar were lying wounded near each other.The jackal saw both the hunter and the boar dying and become very happy.

He thought, "These two dead bodies will provide me enough food for many days". Suddenly he noticed the leather string of the bow lying beside the hunter.

After seeing so much of food, The jackal becomes greedy. He thought, "If I pass today's day by eating this string, I can save the food for one more day".

So he went near the bow and started chewing the string. the bow, which was under extreme tension, sprang back and hit the jackal severely. The jackal died immediately.
