"The Door"

Part-1/3

At times, a book is needed to be judged by its cover! A haunted door has a haunted house inside!?

Had the curiosity to see the house behind the door for once! A rafoo door with a calling bell.

However, I didn't have any plan but,... that day the milkman, "Ma'am, please accompany me to the house!"

"Me? Why? How do you go every day?", I got astonished.

"Ma'am, today I've forgotten my mobile phone!", the wimpy man answered.

"Mobile phone? How come that helps you?", I asked hesitantly.

"Actually, I've recorded various sorts of nocturnal sounds in that and while entering this house, I play those sounds. They work as 'Bhoot Pisaach Nikat Nahi Aawe kinda!", in short, a typical Gwala featurette!!!

However! explanations apart; me, like a gentle child at heart, pressed the door bell-no sound came. The door creaked, got slightly opened, common in horror movies. When we both dared to enter, the weather was sunny funny. We walked on the mosses; saw an unused tube well, standing like a watchman. A grill gate at the staircase.

"The Door"

Part-2/3

Seeing the staircase, "Bhaago Bhoot Aaya", hit my mind. Whatever once pledged to read the book till the end...we're to take the risk. The staircase, straight to the small roof, had flowers and cactuses pots(it means Angel and Devil residing together); never ever taken care off or watered timely! The roof, connected with the house, covered with mosses. A dripping tap, timer of Municipality water supply. Another grill gate of the castle.Yea! The house seemed like the castle of a wicked witch! Whatever, this grill gate was locked from outside!?

"Milk!", the milkman signalled frighteningly.

There was an open kitchen with an open dining space, in between the grill gate and wooden door(the actual door of the house). It was a complete mess without mosses at least! However, a grumpy voice asked the milkman to unlock the grill gate, pour the milk in any utensil and go away.

"The Door"

Part-3/3

The keys were hanging below the broken calling bell, at the right top corner of the gate. He unlocked, I also entered along with him with, "Golmal Hai, Bhai! Sab Golmal Hai", in my mind. That wooden door slightly creaked, as usual, and all of a sudden the weather changed drastically. That final wooden door rattled.

"Let's get out from here!", the milkman warned. But my eyes caught hold of the ongoing scary scene, inside the house!? An unforgettable scene.

The ceiling of the house was, 'up above the world so high kinda'.It was nowhere raining outside but, the house inside was drenched due to the heavy rainfall!? To decode this happening, I peeped inside the rattling door...Oh! Nooo! What the hell!

I found the ceiling and walls, got secret holes and those holes were acting like sprinklers. The house inside was completely damped. The whole read was a mix bag journey! Saw a dark figure, in the mirror reflection, coming towards me.

"You people have found my house a place of fun and joy! Get out my house!", the voice, the dark figure inside the house came out with a face and blew both of us. We both enjoyed the flight and splashed down with a great 'THUD' again at "THE DOOR"!...
