The Divine Love

Its all about Nisha and Aniket.They were in the early age of 26 and both of them were employees of a private sector company. It was during the early Spring when one day at night, Nisha and Aniket were waiting in the bus stop for their respective buses to go their way back home. Since it was already night, there were few people in the road. The bus stop was empty except Nisha and Aniket.
Suddenly, gentle wind along with driving rain lashes down. Nisha and Aniket got fully wet. The rain was so heavy that it was accompanied by lightning, thunder and wind. The sky was as black as the devil’s soul. Lightning is the megawatt smile of nature, but there was nothing friendly about the terrawatts of violence that it sometimes unleashed. The freaky loud sound of thunder storm was just annoying Nisha and Aniket and they came closer. Nothing could be seen as it was a dark night and both of them wore black clothes. All they could see was each other's eye balls when there was a lightning in the sky. Suddenly there was such a huge sound of thunder storm that Nisha got frightened and grabbed and held Aniket tightly. The thunder rolled overhead like the fury of the gods. It tumbled toward them through the darkened clouds, spreading out into the night, hailing the promise of rain to the land below. It was for the first time that Aniket felt someone's hand on his chest who was a stranger to him yet, also it was for the first when Nisha wrapped her arms around someone whom she did not know at all. It was for a couple of seconds and the only word Nisha told to Aniket at that moment was "Sorry". Aniket just gave a wide smile and said, "it happens".
Slowly the rain calmed down yet there were little drops pouring steadily. Finally it was time to go back to their places. Nisha smiled and said, "thanks you were there otherwise I would have been blown away with the wind and storm and the thunder and lightening would have eaten me up". Before leaving she just asked Aniket, "can you give your number in case again in the road if I caught by the wind you  can also accompany me." Aniket uttered the 10 digits in a heavy tone.
Both of them reached their room safely. Nisha took a look at the number and she don’t know with what name to save it, because she didn’t want to save with Aniket. Thinking all this happenings she fell asleep. Aniket still remember the light pink nailpolish of Nisha's finger in his black shirt in that sparkling light was like pink stars twinkling in a dark cloudy night.
After one week it was in the evening when Aniket was busy with a cup of coffee with his colleagues, he got a call from an unknown number. From the other side someone spoke out. "Its me Nisha remember we meet one week before in the bus stop". Aniket told, "yes I remember" and finished the coffee. Nisha told frankly, "since it is weekend so can we meet  somewhere where there is no rain and spend some time. I am bored." Aniket as usual in his gentle voice say okay sure.
So, it was the second time they met. Both of them met in a coffee shop. This time the day was blue. Coincidentally both of them wore blue dress. Both of them stared at each other for ten seconds and Aniket somehow escaped from it. Nisha smiled. So they talked to each other. Exchange numbers. In the weekends they hung out together. They enjoy each others company a lot.
It was after two months when there will be a vacation of 15 days in office. They were happy as there will be no pressure of work. Nisha called Aniket and said, "come to my place spend some time I need to say to you something." Aniket was confused. He left for Nishas place. Nisha gave a warm welcome to Aniket. They talked to each other, ate food and spent some time together. Nisha told, "since vacation will start I will visit my mom and dad. So, I will not be able to see you for ten days." Aniket told "Good to hear that, yes you go and meet your parents, will miss you" and became busy with his cellphone.
Nisha smiled and told thanks. She then told, "why don’t you also go to your native and meet your parents?" Aniket told, "my parents never called me and I am in love with my rent room. So I will stay here." Nisha was confused when he said his parents never called him. After insisting Aniket told that his parents were no more as both of them suffered from cancer and died 5 years ago. He was the only child and he is living alone and he is happy now. Nisha stared at Aniket and told, "are you okay?"
Aniket told, "No I am not in his heavy tone. I want you to leave me now because I am too suffering from bone cancer." He then told "To love me or leave me its upto you Nisha. I will be happy what ever decision you take." Nisha become numb after hearing all this. She told, "why were you hiding all this things from me? You are the first and last thing on my mind each and everyday. I may not be the best but I promise I will take care of you with all my heart." Suddenly Aniket gets a call from his doctor as he had to do some tests for the next radiotherapy. Aniket bade goodbye to Nisha and told her to enjoy her vacations. Nisha wanted to stop Aniket and wanted to say something but Aniket went away as he knew his life was uncertain and did not want to make Nisha’s life miserable.
It was that night, when Aniket was in his hospital bed Nisha entered. Aniket was shocked to see her. He told, "why are you here now? You shoulb be in your home now." Nisha smiled and told, "you are my home Aniket. Dont think of Cancer just think you can survive." Aniket stared at Nisha, caught hold of her hand and told, "thanks for being there."  From that day Nisha shared his love, care, happiness with Aniket who was all alone in this earth.
