The Dark Spell

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, it’s tough not to get freaked out when you’re alone and you hear something bump in the night or even hear a voice. Some people believe in those unknown and some don’t. If you are amongst the ones who don’t, then the following story may change your opinion..

Alake was a 16 year old boy who lived with his grandfather in a small house. His parents had died when he was 5 year old. His Grandfather was living the last moments of his life when he called him in his room and said “Alake, my dear boy you have grown up so beautifully. I want you to not repeat the same mistakes that I have done in my life.” Alake was crying his heart out.After hearing what his grandpa said to him he stopped crying and asked, “What kind of mistakes Grandpa?” In a soft voice, Alake’s Grandfather replied “I committed a big crime a few years ago and got away with. My freedom was a result of a spell he performed and you should expect a visit from a dark man”

After telling this Alake’s Grandfather took his last breath. The next week was crucial for Alake; after all, his grandfather had passed away.

After a few days, he saw someone creepy in his dream. He was a tall, aged man having no eyes. He was dark and had very long nails. There was blood all over his face. He walked slowly towards Alake. Alake got petrified when he saw him. He yelled and yelled but there was no one for his rescue. The tall dark man with his blemished face came towards him and said “I am coming for you”.Alake woke up from his dream, his face was full of sweat, his room had become a mess and on the wall near to his bed was a note written from blood. “I am coming for you” read Alake in a terrified tone.

The next evening, when Alake returned from his school, he saw the same man in his house sitting in one corner of the room. Alake yelled “What do you want?” The dark man replied in a calm voice “I just want you to pay for your Grandfather’s sins, a life for life”. Saying this the dark man disappeared. The following evening, Alake heard a huge voice from his yard. He rushed to the yard and saw the same man killing a cat brutally with his giant nails. After killing it, he was eating it morsel by morsel with his giant nails and the cat’s blood was flowing through his mouth.

It was indeed a depressing scene for a 16 year old, wasn’t it? Alake ran as fast as lightning and came across a graveyard. He saw a person digging a huge hole in the ground, right next to his Grandfather’s burial. “I am going to bury you alive here, just next to your father after all someone needs to pay for his sins” saying this the wicked dark man started laughing. He stared at Alake with his creepy face full of blood.The blood was increasing and increasing on his face. Alake tried to escape but the man grabbed Alake and was taking him to the huge hole he dug. Alake still didn’t give up. He tossed and turned to escape. He yelled and yelled but it was of no use. Alake bit his hands but it was like a rat biting a crocodile. The dark man got pissed and scratched and torn Alake’s face up with those giant nails and pushed Alake into the hole and buried him alive. Alake’s screams were murdered.

The creepy man performed a dark spell once again, by which everyone who knew Alake forgot about his existence on earth.
