The Clever Woman

Once upon a time, there was a very clever and hardworking farmer woman whose name was Sonali. Her husband was a very lazy man. They lived in a village called Shaitaligram

One day, a thief visited the village and wanted to loot a temple near Sonali’s home. He saw Sonali working in the fields and asked: “Why are you working so hard”. Sonali immediately understood that he was a thief and said “My family had left a treasure here. My husband did a lot of hard work finding this location. Did you thought that I was digging the fields for growing crops?”. The thief thought that Sonali had told him a very valuable secret. During the night, when all were sleeping except Sonali and the thief, the thief started digging the fields in search of the treasure. He found nothing and as soon as Sonali saw him she called the police and the wanted criminal was arrested? As he had dug the fields, it was now very easy to grow crops. Many good crops grew and were sold for INR 100 each. They were now very rich!

Sonali and her husband took a new good looking house. As there was a lot of money now, the bought many ornaments and jewelry and they lived happily ever after.

Moral of the story: Be clever, hardworking and brave like the woman in the story!
