The Call

You know nowadays how many of us are into our phones and how today's children like pranks so much. Ok, let me just dive right into the topic. Our summer holidays were going on and I was having a lot of fun with my cousins in Goa. We were there for a long time and eventually we got a little bored so we started pranking people and the smallest and the stupidest of our pranks resulted to be the most unbelievable and supernatural one. We were all going to sleep and as a joke at about 1 at night we all called ourselves as in literally dialled our own no. And everyone's phone said that the no. You are calling is currently busy. EXCEPT MINE.

Someone had picked up my phone. We were all terrified.There was a very coarse voice speaking on the other end but it could be recognised that it was a female's voice. We all were literally trembling and did not know what to do. The voice had now started making weird, scary and squeaky sounds. After this horrifying experience with me, all remained silent for the next 10 minutes.

We had decided not to tell anyone about this and kept this as our little secret.

To this day when we look back at that incident we still wonder what was there on that other line. Years after we still wonder. Was it a network problem or had I just dialled the wrong number? Or was it really the horrifying and Supernatural thing that we thought it was and we were all just really scared to admit it and face it. We still wonder.......
