It was not the usual twilight in Rabindre colony. The stubborn black clouds seemed to have gathered from ages. The Ailing planet was showing its colours, Mr Banerjee's shop and the brothel of Balraj were covered by a usual weather. Both of the places were at a meagre distance from Rabindre colony. Times changed in the most drastic way when the gigantic clock in the Kanaklata hall showed 7 pm. The pendulum at Mr Ghosh's house had a difference of just a second. Mr Ghosh, the man with butterfly moustache was returning to his possession when he saw the door of 3FA open. The man was not nonplussed but concerned for no owner lived there. He was confused and lost in deep thought until the filthiest smell of his life caught his nose. It was strong enough for him to drop the bag carrying ladyfingers. The news spread like forest fires and the few but all the members of the society were standing before the house after a few minutes. There were discussions among the members for a long time. A decision was made and the responsible secretary took the lead. Handkerchiefs were never so important and society's men as it was on that very day. The men entered a closet darker than Mrs Ghosh's Puth who was buried recently at a pet cemetery. The smell kept on intensifying as they drew closer. They were determined not to puke.A table flooded with blood was seen by them. But their jaws dropped open when they saw a slaughtered body of a lady dressed in nothing. The people were in shock and there was buzz all around. Ultimately a precise decision of calling the men in white was made. Cold and calm faces were seen all around. Some were biting their own teeth. The men in White came and they themselves rated the body as one of the most dangerous among those they had seen in their career. The normal procedure followed and the naked lady's body was taken for forensic. The people's lifestyle turned worse after that blacker twilight. Two days after the catastrophe , they were invited to the police bureau. The quadragenerians were discussing their assumptions among themselves. After a wait of an hour, the whole queue went through the detection test. After drinking a dozen glasses of water the investigator Mr Matthews caught one of the two murderers. His name was Vikash going through a random chronic disease which prevents him from remembering everything prior to one day . However, the no-nonsense investigator used his tricky tone and flawless skills to make him admit that he was one of the culprits. The forensic cop stated that the dead body was raped by two necrophiliacs. However , the tame man's disease made him unable to remember even the face cut off his accomplice. Another lie detection test followed as a result. The third turn was of Mr Ghosh. He was the least affected because his conscience told him that he was innocent. When he sat in the chair, Mr Matthews told him that the defaced CCTV camera saw him carrying a plastic bag. The investigator asked him in a professional way about what was in the bag. He replied with full confidence ' Ladyfingers'. The machine nodded with a sound. Mr Ghosh shook his hands and went to the washroom where he murmured to the wall, ' I have always been weak in English. For me, there is no distinction between Ladyfinger and Lady's finger.'
