The best moments with my paren

I was to meet my biological parents after 10 years. I entered their house, which was much smaller that the house of my parents who had adopted me. A woman came and showered all her hugs and kisses, my mother and my father patted me on my back. There was a strange warmth that I had never felt before. The father made me sit on his lap, which was a rare experience for me. The cakes and pastries that they made me eat was so exciting. They showed me the dresses they had bought for me, simple ones yet there was a bonding that felt strange. I did not miss the huge house, or my room or my maid. This felt real and much simpler. We laughed, chatted, cracked jokes and somehow I felt I belonged there. I asked them "Do I really have to go back?" They suddenly looked sad and my father said "Yes since they have taken care of you for long and will always do? "But why did you give me away?" My father replied "To save my sister's marriage, as she didnt have any kids". It felt unfair, yet I didnt want to sadden them. I spent the day with them and came back to my big house, but yes was determined to visit them every now and then.
