The Accident

It was a sweet morning and I had my online classes going on. When I and my mom heard a loud noise - "Crash!…. "It was an accident near our society! But we ignored it and immediately closed the windows so that there is no noise. After some time, the chattering of the people increased. My mom and I went down to investigate the incident. There was one lady on a scooter and a driver. Soon the police arrived.

All of them were blaming to the lady because all of them thought that a lady cannot drive a scooter. I could see a young man saying that he was the eyewitness to this accident but no one could hear him as he was the only one who was the eyewitness. The lady and the driver were taken to the police station for investigating the matter.

That day onwards I thought that there is no value for a woman. It's just to say "Ladies first" but what we do totally opposite to that. Only a lady or woman can make mistakes not a man. Why does it only happen with a woman? To clarify my doubt, I went to my mother. My mother said, "Women are not always blamed for any reason but yes, before this, we women led a hard life." After saying this she narrated to me the story of Malala Yousafzai who fought for the literacy of a girl. She was even shot by the Taliban when she was going to the school on the school bus with her friends.

She also told the story of Mary Kom who is currently a world champion boxer, her father did not allow her to become a boxer. Inspired by her story there is a Bollywood film named 'Mary Kom'. Gunjan Saxena is also the one. She is an Indian Air Force officer and former. There is a movie named 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'.

"Each of these women has a unique story. Each had hurdles to jump over, some were bullied as a child, some battled depression, some are from privileged families, and some from remote rural places."

After two days, the news came that after a lot of investigation, ended up concluding that the driver was the reason for the accident. The driver was on a call and did not gave attention to his driving. The lady was constantly horning.

It is proved now that a woman needs to face a lot of problems.

That day I understood that a lady is not always wrong and being a woman we need to help the other women.
