A friend has always been a very important person in our lives. We have had different best friends at different stages of life. From childhood only we've been around with some of the other friends of ours. In our life, once a stage comes, where we lose our friend or our friend leaves us. We're taken aback, even more, when that friend whom we lost was our best friend and that too would have been with us in all sorts of situations in life. Today I'm gonna talk about one such story. The story is of my life. It's of the time when I had lost my best friend.

The story starts on a sunny summer afternoon in 2019. The time was about 2'o clock and the Sun was shining brightly above my head in the month of April. It was the time when my school was over and we were on our way home. I was engrossed in talking to my mom and was looking around. On the way home I saw someone whose sight and behavior had astonished me.

Now let's begin from the beginning.

When I was 4 years old I had a school-best friend named Ishika. We both were one another's life. We would have a lot of fun with each other and would do everything with each other. We even ate with each other and did mischief together. We were truly best friends and dreamt of never leaving each other. We were so innocent that we had promised each other, that we would live next door when we would grow up and start working.

When we came in 1st standard, Ishika changed her school and it was a really mournful moment for both of us. Though we coped with the circumstances, I was never able to forget her and always had the credence that I would someday see her again.
