The Tattoo

This story is about 3 friends who decided to get a tattoo each. They went to a tattoo shop and asked the tattoo maker to make one. All the three were confused about which tattoo to get. The tattoo maker took all the three friends near a bowl inside which, chits were kept. Each chit was folded nicely and inside each chit was a tattoo made, one of them got a chit in which a half-faced lion with an arrow was made. she got the tattoo made.

But, soon after that, she started hallucinating, she thought. At times she found herself in a forest and in front of her was a man standing with a lion face.

The next day, it was her sister's Mehendi ceremony, there the lion-faced man came and killed her sister.

She told all this to her parents, so they visited a sacred sage. That sage told, that it was all because of that tattoo, that was no ordinary.

The sage told them the story of the lion-faced man.

" Once there lived a powerful sage and his student. The student was excellent in black magic. Once he wished of becoming the most powerful man in the world. His teacher tried to make him understand, that it was not possible and not fair too. But he didn't listen, and spelt a spell on himself, that he would turn into a human-lion."

" From that day on, whoever got that tattoo made, got in danger"

That girl with the tattoo had a special power, that if she took a Trishul of Maa Durga and hit that human lion in the middle of his chest, he immediately reduced to ashes.

That night itself, that man appeared, and the girl did according to what the sage had told, thus the human-lion died forever (reduced to ashes).
