That Piece Of Us!

That Piece Of Us!

How many of us could be spontaneous in telling the color of bedspread in our home? Hasn't it been long since we stopped noticing our surroundings. We are in the world where we are busy planning our next sixty that we forget to walk across our street and realise so many things changed since school.

Hardly do we acknowledge how soothing music is instead we end up naming it #stress buster #the only companion… we don't listen to music anymore maybe we do it either to escape the world or just to pass the so called boring time. We are so grown up that we forgot how blissful rain is rather we have learned to complain about it. But yeah we need super cool drenched pictures to hashtag and to get likes. We still do fight with our sisters and brothers but it's high time we acknowledge it isn't the same as it used to be. This time it is of more grudge and arrogance with the flavor of ego than love and silliness as it used to be.

It is all different now! Emotions, struggles, politics, education everything is just one among many posts. Expressing and celebrating feelings have become obsolete, they are just hash tags. #MOOD #tensed #messed up #OMG # love #feeling blessed #feeling thankful. But what are we really thankful for? Ask this to yourself, Do we really feel blessed or it is all about the attention we get?

All of us need a day off from the regular routine but we are not even an hour off from the notifications we get in social media. Do we sit have a chat with our family? Do we atleast dine together? It is a big no, isn't it? These might be tiny stuffs we barely notice but they pile up to be the meaning of the life we live. When you realise it all, it would be too late!

It would be too late to tease your sister or brother.

It would be too late to eat ice creams at the night without tooth ache.

It would be too late to ask your mom if she is really happy.

It would be too late to tell your parents that you love them.

By the time you want to, they would be long gone.

Let's all take a moment and realize what we are missing. Some part of you is always incomplete because you miss to celebrate things that are meant to be celebrated. Make sure that part is done right.

In the life full of puzzles it might be the last piece that completes you!
