Another examination went by, and once again, you could not match up to your parent's expectations. You could not score as much as your teachers think you are capable of. You could not defeat the students who have been topping the class since years. It wilk surely make you think that if they can do it, why can't you do it? Why aren't you the one who topped the class? You see your friends talking to their parents happily with a 85% or 90% report card, and you are standing with your eyes down with shame, holding a 65% or 70% report card. Your friends are celebrating that the exams are over, and you are worried about what is going to happen to you in the next examination. You are scared about how disappointed your parents are. You are sad about the fact that your teachers might lose hope from you. You might start feeling that you are a dumb student and you are not as capable as the others. You might start feeling that you should stop trying because it is not going to happen. Do you really think this is true? No. It is not. God did not make anyone more special than the others. Also, it is not about the resources you have. There are poor children out there who are doing amazing stuff, and on the other hand, there are rich spoilt children who are wasting their lives. It is all upon you. You can either look at your low score and sulk, or you can use it as a thing to push you forward. You can either look at your friends' scores and feel bad, or you can use it as a source to motivate you to do better than them. You can either let your parents anger let you down, or you can use it as a way to make you want to make them smile. Life is full of excuses. It is on u to ignore them and move forward. It is all about the choice you make. What would you like to say in the end, "I did it" or "I could have done it"?
