King Shangar Rao was serving to Nijam. He was very wealthy. Due to some last birth karma, he got infected by devil powers. He lost interest in life and his health started affecting. He did many pujas but no effect came. Finally, he decided to go to Shree Gandgapur and started worshipping Dattaguru.

After 3 months he got a dream that he should go to Akkalkot and serve to Swami. He was not a devotee of Swami so he ignored this dream. After some days again the same dream came. Now he decided and went to Akkalkot with his beloved wife.

 To get faster treatment from Swami he convinced Sundarabai. Sundarabai made him take a promise that he will pay her a big amount once he gets his treatment.  Sundarabai took him to Swami and told the issue. 

Swami got up and started walking. He went outside the city in Shekhanoor Daraga. He entered into a cremation place and slept in one empty place. Everyone told Shankar Rao that Swami had taken his death on him. After some time, Swami started back to his place. Shankar Rao that day worshipped in Daraga.

After some days Swami told Rao to take neem leaves and black pepper as a medicine. He went back home. He got cured in 10 days. In some days, he got freed from devil powers. He returned to Swami. Asked him what about my promise of paying money? Swami said construct Hanuman big Mandir outside Akkalkot. Rao got very famous due to this temple in the future.
