Specimen Signature in English

Specimen Signature in English

Bablu Das- saving account holder at our branch.

"Shall I sign my name in English, madam?", Bablu Das himself asked me.

Quite a common name, can be heard at every next door neighbor's house!

A shy natured, medium height, thin man. 2 days back had visited our branch with his daughter. Have saving account with specimen signature in bengali.

Today again visited with his daughter. We, people, have a common tendency of judging front persons by their outlook.

However, our intention should focus on making others comfortable.

"Want to open a current account ", Bablu Das expressed to me.

I intimated him to provide the required documents.

Then I found, he had come with full preparation

The beauty of his simplicity generated positive vibes & made everything smooth. He called out his daughter to help him getting the documents arranged.

I got everything ready for final touch up i.e, only the specimen signature of Bablu Das was remained.

His daughter was still standing, so that her father won't get nervous about.

"In which language would you like me to do my specimen signature, madam?", looking at his daughter, Bablu Das asked me once again.

"He has done his signature in bengali in saving account.", his daughter indirectly asked me the same question.

"In whichever language you feel comfortable.", I replied.

A primary level passed man, Bablu Das.

"Bengali is easier but, my daughters want me not to lag behind in anything. I've 2 daughters & are teaching me English in leisure time. I'll do my specimen signature in English this time!", Bablu Das relayed to me.

Saw the pride of a father in the eyes. Pride of having such daughters, pride of not being a laggard!!!

While doing the specimen signature, he wanted his daughter to stand beside him.

His soft spoken, pursuing M.A.in English, patient daughter was prompting him during the whole specimen signature job.

Lastly, the Specimen Signature in English attracted today's limelight...

Was it the father-daughter bonding OR the enthusiasm of learning at the age of 54 or

What else can be...you guess!???
