Special Someone

“Shut up, Sona!” Myra said laughing out loud.

They were on a call for more than an hour. As usual, Myra was complaining about some random stuff of the day and Sona was doing her charm on making things lighter for Myra by cracking jokes.

“You need to learn how to laugh at your problems Myra, only that way you can handle them” Sona advised.

“I know, I know… You always say this dude but don’t you get it? I need you more than your advice. I need to be assured that there is someone ready to listen at any odd hour of the day.. or night… or whatever…” Myra replied.

“I always wonder how different life seems when I talk about it to you. You are my go-to-person forever. Thank you, sweetie!” Myra continued.

Sona said smiling, “Myra, you are such a….. cute little kiddo. Stop this maska thing of yours now.”

“Acha by the way, how did you figure out I was low?” Myra asked.

“Dude, your first word on the call gives me your complete situation!” Sona replied in pride.

“How we all love the phone calls that don't start with a formal greeting. You pick up the call and say ‘Sona meri Jaan’ is when everything is normal. You say ‘haan Sona’ is a dull day and you just say ‘Hmm’ is the disaster thing. And if, by any chance, you say ‘Hello’ Matlab ke bass... sab khatam. Today was a ‘Hmm day’.” Sona explained.

Myra trying to control her laughter, “Sona, you are a gem! What would I do without you? What? What? What? “ 

“Jaanne ke liye dekhiye kal ka episode...” Sona continued.

Sometimes all you need is a good conversation with the right person and life is all sorted. We always want that one person in the life whom we can go to for anything and everything, that person can hold any relation in our life but will stand apart from every other relation given the fact that he/she will understand us as no one else does. You know they have your back no matter what you go through or how you end up. When you find that special person, hold them tight, let them know often that they mean the world to you and never let them go. After all, true and honest relations are the biggest asset of life.
