This story is about a girl who came into this world with some dreams but they buried because of being a girl. "Shurti you are not ready till now? Boy's family will come any time". Shurti's mom asked her with anger. But looking at Shruti it doesn't seem like that she wants to marry. She was remembering that when her father told her that they are searching for a groom for her and soon they will get her married with him. Shurti was shocked to hear this and she openly spoke to her father that she doesn't want to marry, she is just 21 and still her graduation is not completed. She was thinking that last time also she compromised her dream of becoming a doctor. Because there parents said that there is no need to do that much study, after all, you have to take care of house hold after marriage. She remembered that how she convinced her father for her graduation.

Shurti was always a brilliant student. But no one appreciated her. Even her in-laws don't want her to study further. Remembering her journey of being a girl, she was thinking why she was born, if she was a born a boy, no one can force her to do anything. But now it's not possible, tears are starting flow for her eyes . "Shurti come here " her mom is calling. She wiped her tears and rushed towards the kitchen, burning all her dreams. Now they become only dreams.

We always said that society has changed now. But for what society has changed. Still, there are so many girls in this world who don't have right to choose what they want? In the name of family reputation responsibilities are imposed on them. Is it the change in society? There are lots of girls in this world who don't have right to choose their career, their life partner even they don't have right to smile as they want to be, they don't have right to wear what they want. If she is born black then this will become curse for her whole life. Why we always said that girls can't do what boys can. why we never said that boys can't do what girls can. Can a boy give birth to a child? Can a boy bear the labour pain? Can boys leave their home for a girl for whole life? No, but we still comparing them why? If boys have all the rights then girls do have their rights. Who the hell we are to snatch them from her? I think no one, so stop judging them on the basis of their clothes, colour and gender. If she is calm like "Durga" , then she can be "Kali" as well. So stop being judgemental. Don't burn her dreams, she has also rights to fulfill them.
