On one occasion a three-year-old daughter of a poor man called Babu Kirwandikar had fallen into the well. The word had spread that she had drowned!
However when the villagers rushed to the well, they saw the child was suspended in mid-air as if some invisible hand was holding her up!
She was quickly pulled out of the well. Sai Baba was fond of that child. The latter would often be heard saying that she was Sai's sister!
After this incident, the villagers would say that it was all Sai baba's leela which made the child survive!They could offer no other explanation for this event!
