Today I was thinking, how do I take care of my feet? I realized I do take care of them throughout the day. My day begins with washing my feet and ends with washing them before going to bed. Meanwhile, I wear socks and shoes to prevent them from getting tired of the hot sun rays. I do walk pretty much to provide them with sufficient blood circulation. I change my posture during long-time sitting on a chair to provide my feet comfort along with my body. I wear chappals at night while taking a walk after dinner. During all these activities, I never prioritized my feet but have definitely taken care of them by avoiding some activities that may hurt them.

Today, after dinner, I was passing through a small lawn in my hostel campus, which I see every day but have never looked at it with kind attention. But today, I felt like the lavish green grass of the lawn was calling me for a conversation. I noticed their glowing face under the light, I gazed at their twinkling eyes with dewdrops, I enjoyed their subtle, soothing flow in the wind. Ah....what a beauty it was. I went off my slippers and entered into this new endeavour and enjoyed my baby steps on the path that they have spread. I enjoyed the cool weather, the calm delight of the moon, the clear sky and the clean surface of the grass. At each step, I was feeling a charm of happiness, a beat of relaxation and a moment of peace. It was as if the grass know my tiredness, they know about my day and they also know that I need some attention. I felt like, they are giving a soothing massage to my feet, whispering some words that slowly became lyrical. Although I was walking, my soul was enjoying this wonderful world. I dwelled in the depth of calmness, happiness, peace and unforgettable satisfaction.

Suddenly, I realized, I need to go. I started coming out of the grassy circumference and saw my slippers waiting at the rim. I looked at them and said, 'Oh! I need to now wear the slippers.' Anyways, I had to do that and I entered into my daily world.

Nature and its beauty are a gift for us. It is us who can not find time for ourselves, nor for nature. But the immersion of ourselves with mother nature is a gift that we should give to ourselves. Let us find out some time for ourselves as well as for our beautiful mother nature and receive this gift as a blessing. This is a blessing of satisfaction that should always convey its gratitude to our mother nature.
