There was a joint family of scheduled tribes in a small village. They lived from hand to mouth. All brothers would work in their parental field in the forest. There were very few families in that small village. If they didn’t have either sufficient crops or daily wages in the nearby areas, they would live off the fat of the land. There was a youngest brother in the family whose name was Baba. He had an interest in education. His brothers would send him to the nearest school. Anyhow, he completed his education up to high school on foot by attending the nearest schools in bigger villages from his native village. But he couldn’t pass his tenth board examination. It was the utmost unfortunate thing in his life. The thing begun is half done. He was fond of reading local newspapers. He hardly had a chance to get a newspaper for reading when he had to go to either town or city for selling their farm products with his elder brother. An ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure. Whenever he would go to the market with his elder brother for selling farm products, he would get a chance for reading newspapers in the shops. Incidentally, he found an advertisement about filling of group “D” staff in central government offices through the employment office. As soon as he saw the above vacancies than he went to the employment office. Fortune favors the bold. He met with the concerned officer. He showed him his employment card. The officer checked his name in the issued list of candidates. His name was on the list. He informed him about the date, time, and place for the interview. He told him that the office already dispatched such a letter to his postal address a few days ago by post. He requested him that he should get one more copy of it as it would deliver him late by post. He saw him eye to eye. Baba faced the interview on the scheduled date. He was selected for the post of peon in one of the central government offices. His family got him married to a girl of the community. He was a man who had enough faith in God. He would worship God with devotion daily from his childhood.

He wasn’t only simple but also a talkative, cooperative, and innocent man. He had two sons and a lovely daughter. It was unfortunate that he made a struggle for getting an education, but his kids got an easy chance for getting an education. But they couldn’t make the best of a bad bargain. Though they had constitutional provisions for government jobs easily, they couldn’t make use of it for their betterment and development. Their father was helpless, as you can take a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Anyhow, he built his home in the city. He made an effort to get her daughter married to a match boy. Though his son-in-law was very smart, he was a regular wine taker. He spoiled his daughter‘s life. After all, a leopard doesn’t change its spots. Anyhow, he got her divorced from him. Time and tide wait for no man. Later he got her married to a widower who had a son. His new son-in-law belonged to an upper caste than him. But the new couple was happy. His eldest son would work in some private company. He got his son married. He had a granddaughter. The whole family was happy. He was about eighty. He got his youngest son married to a rural girl as he was in a company which was nearest to his native place.

Man proposes and God disposes. He made sincere efforts for the upliftment of his family in his life, but he couldn’t be successful in his mission. The road to hell is to be paved with good intentions. His intention was sincere. Fortunately, his second daughter-in-law was pregnant. No sooner did she have pregnancy than she developed some typical medical problems. They hadn’t sufficient money for her treatment at a costly hospital. They took the shelter of some blind belief from community people as well as relatives, but she didn’t get any relief from those measures. Ordinary doctors already raised their hands in doing her treatment. She would shout very loudly with some interval regularly. She might be suffering from epilepsy seizures. She would lose her temper and balance. It had a very bad impact on the baby in her stomach. It was a very typical situation for the family. Don’t think that there are no crocodiles in the water as the water is calm. They were alert and worried but helpless. Where one door shuts, another door opens. Somebody from their community guided them. If they showed her to their priest, she would soon get relief from the problem. A drowning man will clutch a straw. Some of them already accepted another religion in the past. When they contacted him, he started his treatment on her. It might be either a coincidence or a late effect of earlier treatment. She showed some improvement in her health. The family noticed the same. They were asked to visit their place of worship regularly. The master of the family had faith in his religion in which he was born. He did the worship of a navigator of the religion throughout his life. He was more than eighty years. How could he adopt another religion culture at a crossroad? But, most of the families and relatives already adopted the new religion for their betterment. Persuasion is better than force. All the members of the family were ready to accept the new religion as they were convinced by the priest of the religion. For the sake of the family, the master decided to adopt the new religion. It is not in the hand of a man to be born in any preferred religion. He has no choice with him. The label of religion got fixed as the religion of their parent. But there are many broadcasters of each religion whose work is to expand their religion. Most of them have their own style to expand their religion among the masses. There is nothing wrong in the expansion of religion. But the masses should be convinced of how their religion is better than another religion for mankind. But, by helping the masses caught in crises and showing the seduction of providing them on the name of religion is absolutely wrong. A man could adopt any religion by his thought. It is his natural right as a human being.

Once there were many miscreants in the society during Lord Buddha's era. He would always say that he wasn’t the liberator of mankind. He would be a guide to all mankind. One day when he was passing with his followers through the masses, one of the miscreants misbehaved with Lord Buddha. So, his followers got angry with the miscreant. He stopped his followers not to react with him. Followers said to Buddha to give him a sermon so that he would not misbehave with others. Buddha said to all his followers that he didn’t require any preaching. He only required medical treatment to make him okay. There is a quarrel among the masses that their religion is superior to all other religions in the universe. Almost all religions have faith in some miracle by their supreme. The root base of almost all religions is based on some wonders of their supreme except Buddhism. Lord Buddha says that he is only a guide, not any navigator to mankind.

His teachings are purely scientific. But most of the countries are poor in education and by wealth. They don’t have sufficient sources for getting enough food. Most of them end their life due to famine. People die more of food than starvation. They had enough wealth but they wouldn’t provide any help to needy human beings. Most of the rich countries spend their wealth and resources to produce insurgency in the world. They spend their budget on defense to produce instability in the world. They can use their resources for the welfare of mankind. But, they would produce conflict among the world masses by the name of religion to show the supremacy of their religion instead of doing humanity for saving mankind. Is religion so important for a man to survive in this world? Is there any religion bigger than humanity? The answer to all these questions is only mass education. The day on which each human being would start paying respect to all other religions besides his own religion.
