Quantum Playground

When Michael's best friend Jenny died he was heartbroken, he spent every day weeping in his room, he used to sit in the playground where both of them spent hours together but before it turned 7 pm all the children including Michael used to abandon the playground because they all knew the legend of the dead children's haunting the whole neighborhood reported strange giggles and ghostly figures in the playground after 7 pm, the playground was a place where the world of the dead and living met and the only place you could go the world of the dead without being, you know, dead, it had a quantum flow and once you stay there after the witching hours you stay trapped, forever.

One day Michael decided to stay...decided to stay at the playground, he wanted to see his best friend Jenny again. He started to hear giggles after the whole town went quiet, he saw children....no, DEAD children, he watched as they started playing all through the playground everything was occupied by the children, one of them spotted Michael, he asked "What are you doing here, this is a place for ghosts only, Michael wasn't scared in fact he replied "I want to see... I want to see my best friend Jenny again" the child replied to see her you must become one of us, the child pulled him to the swing and they pushed him, they pushed him more and more for what felt like hours, he wanted to vomit, it felt horrific but then he realized that if he stayed after the witching hours he would be trapped, forever he would be doomed to play with the other children.

He got up and walked towards the gate, he felt sick, ghostly hands were pulling him back, he was going to collapse but then he felt another pair of hands push him out of the gate, it was JenTears filled Michaels eyes as he said "Jenny it's you" she replied "Yes it's me", "Why?" Michael asked "Why did you push me out?. "I wanted to meet you." Even more, tears filled his eyes, he asked "Why did you go?" "Are we not friends anymore?". Jenny replied "Of course we are, we just can't spend time together like before" "We'll always be friends and we'll have each other in our hearts".

As the sun rose Jenny disappeared into the world of the dead, Michael turned his back to the playground and started walking away but then, a thousand cold hands started pulling Michael back in, he struggled to get away, the hands ripped his clothes and scratched him, he was tired and was struggling to get away but it was no use, they pulled him back into the playground and into the world of the dead, there was nothing anyone could do, he was doomed to play in the Quantum Playground forever. People have reported the voice of Michael Sawyer, calling for help each night as his soul longs to be free.
