Push the Limit

Dear Sridhar,

You have to give training on these topics. 

My manager e-mailed some lists.

WTF? I have always escaped this thing by doing some other work. While everyone is talking in meetings I used to do some pending work. These are my thoughts after seeing the email.

Why do people think you are productive only if you talk? Sridhar asked questions to the people in the hall.

Maybe we need communication to authenticate our work. One person answered.

Everyone laughed along with her.

Sridhar too laughed and continued his session.

Team Synergy. Eww.. ye konsa topic hai. I have selected the topic for the coming training session. People in the conference hall laughed.

You can understand how much I do sweat with stage fear. Now, I am the only one who has to talk for an hour in front of fifty people.

I have watched a lot of videos to explain the concept of Team Synergy.

The presentation went well and I have even arranged a special physical task for the team to understand the concept.

I took feedback from people on forms. But, I don't have the guts to check them.

The next day I got another email related to training.

The remaining branches are requesting my presentation on the same topic.

I was the person who used to avoid these training sessions due to stage fear. Now, I have almost completed fifty training sessions on various Management strategies in multiple locations across India.

It is all in the efforts you put in every day. It makes you stronger. Push the limits of fear and inhibitions. This is my story. Sridhar completed sharing his experience as a trainer.
