Overcome of loss

Day by day the temperature was rising high. In a poor village, as expected, the presence of electricity is a blessing. Like every year, this time also, electric supply was not available and people were really exhausted in the sunny summer. Without electricity, daily life was not smooth and work was also interrupted.

Seeing people in this situation, the head of the village decided to engage all the people in work so that they will earn and can enjoy. So he called a meeting delivering a plan that we all will reap seeds. Hearing this, all villagers had a question that, "in this hot summer, in this sandy land, what shall we reap?". The head replied, "Watermelon". This is the fruit that can be grown efficiently on sandy land and can be productively added to the head. He again said each person will be given 200 rupees for each day. So, everybody was ready and started working on it.

From the next day onward all the villagers were engaged with the work. As they all were doing their duty, the work was not at all hectic for them. Within two months of time, the work was fruitful and watermelon was about to ripe. All of them were very happy.

Then the head again called a meeting and in that meeting, he rewarded each of the villagers with their earned money. Towards the end of the meeting, Naresh told, "I have an idea, why don't we all contribute our earned money to buy a new transformer for our village so that we will not suffer from the electricity problem every year." This idea sounded fine to all of them. Even the head of the village also liked the idea and told to contribute double amount the total collected money.

All were happy and did according to their discussed plan. Soon the new transformer was put on the place and the electricity problem was resolved for everyone. All were very happy and thanked each other for a very nice mutual understanding. The head of the villagers also appreciated the success of teamwork.
