Because the last time I started my sentence with 'because', it was in school. And I was upbraided by my English teacher not only because I had started my sentence with a 'because' but also because the sentence that followed started with an 'And'. As you must have realized by now, I don't seem to have improved! After all, scoldings were something less important to us. ( here I'm refraining myself from using the word 'not' and I hope you all understand why)

All we cared about was friends.

Let's talk about how it all started. Let me take you back to the time when I did not know how to tie my laces( round about 12 years ago). On the first day of the school, the building looks humongous. We all look like Minions, I must admit and I was one of them, one in a minion. As you may faintly remember, the first day of school never went as good as it is glorified by some of us. In fact, it was full of cries and screams. With half a bunch of the class crying and the other half having no idea whatsoever, I was amongst the few who sat still and quiet. The good ones from the teacher's view and the boring ones from any other view. But just like every toothpaste tube is finally consumed ( not a good analogy, in fact, my worst so far), days of doom and gloom soon faded away into brighter times. Crying was soon forgotten just how we enter the room and forget why we did.

You see I was the type of kid who did not talk to anybody unless somebody talked to me first so making friends was sort of hard. They say the right ones always find you but I was found by the idiot ones and I am very happy about that. ( the guinea pig never really knows what's happening, leave it anyways that's a topic I would discuss someday later)

Let us skip a few years , these years went like Ed Sheeran says "Made friends and lost them through the years."(from the song 'Castle on the hill')

It was only a couple of years before the school was going to end for us that I realized what friendship really meant.

(Here you will feel a transition from humor to philosophy. I can't hold myself when it comes to writing about topics such as the one I'm writing about. My pen just floods the page.)

Friendship is a feeling that is hard to put into words, it is a bond we do not completely understand but are in absolute dire need of. It's a space where mistakes are overlooked and the only thing that should be right in your appreciation of that space. Always brimming with humor, giggles, outbursts, tears, and smiles. It's one of the few things that our heart and mind agree upon for happyness. ( I spelled it wrong deliberately). The sheer selflessness of its aura brings joy and binds us in the strings of love. A garden wherein grows trust, faith, kindness and care so beautifully strong that even the roughest of tempests appear feeble. Even when we fight, we fall apart just to fall back together again. (similar to the lyrics of 'Out of the woods' by Taylor Swift. Half of my mind is song lyrics but again that is a topic we can come back to some time other than this)

People switch places but the bond remains intact.

You plant a tree. It coheres itself to the soil beneath it. It grows. Even when the soil is altered or the tree is replanted, the pact between them remains the same, their friendship is everlasting.

I can fill seven hundred and seventy pages inking about this priced possession but just like everything halts in the middle of something, I end here.
