One Good Turn

Sunny was a boy of 15, studying in 10th standard. He was the only child of his parents. Being the only child he was shown with almost love, care, and facilities. Apart from this, he got lessons of humanity from his parents as well as school teachers.

Sunny was one of the favorite students in his school. He was not only brilliant in studies but also good in sports. He was so enthusiastic, well-mannered, and humble that he was liked in his school as well as in the neighborhood. This year he performed well in all examinations. In sports activities, he out came as the best sportsman. His performance in school sports was outstanding. He was showered with many prizes in various games. In the 'Running competition' he won the' Gold Medal'.

Now there was a school's Annual Day and sunny was awarded 'The gold Medal' in a grand Function. Everyone praises his dedication and devotion as a student for every activity.

After this program, Sunny was returning home. On the way, he met his old neighbor and came to know that their son was very sick. The neighbor was so poor that he could not attend the expenditure of surgery but the surgery was urgent and compulsory. No sooner did sunny know the situation than he decided to give the gold Medal ' to the neighbor. He urged them to sell it and have money. The surgery was successful and the neighbor's son was safe and sound.

When Sunny's parents came to know about this deed. They were indeed very happy. There were tears of happiness in their eyes. Sunny's mother said, "we are very grateful that we have a son like you." And she embarrassed Sunny with love. Sunny's father said, "you are proud of us and I feel proud that I am your father. "
