New Shoots

I celebrated my 50th birthday yesterday and today here I am... trying out a new beginning hoping to discover a new 'Me'. As they say, "You cannot go back to make a new beginning but you can always have a brand new ending!"

I have always loved to write. What better way to communicate the countless thoughts that rise and fall in the tumult of everyday life? This 52 week challenge is an excellent way to rouse the writer/muse in me. I might not be the next Ruskin Bond whose writings are so simple and relatable but I definitely will be the next exciting chapter of ME.

The idea of a new beginning, for me at least, is not to start on a clean slate but to draw a picture of a new tomorrow, tinged with the colors of experience and the thrill of a new journey.

So here's to a new 'Me'. A Me stepping out of my comfort zone, doing what I always wanted to and revelling in it.
