Nerd Nadzooks - Entry 4

SATURDAY

 

Dear diary, 

Monsieur Laurie, our French teacher, just returned our test! And now I`m, like, FREAKING OUT! Why? Because on my test, it says A+ }!! Can you believe that?! I am definitely not the best student in French, and I`ve got loads of competitors, like Scarlet, a popular SNAKE in leopard-print tops and denim shorts!! She is one of those BACKSTABBING rivals that I was talking about, and she doesn`t leave any opportunity to kill my amazingly fabulous good reputation. Like, how juvenile is THAT? She even tried to trip me to the cafeteria today! Obviously, that girl has SERIOUS ISSUES! I`m just sayin`! BTW, our drama teacher, Karenina Bonsov, recruited me as the lead actress in our school play, Romeo and Juliet. Yoohoo!

I always wanted to act but I guess I sweat buckets when I am on the open stage, which doesn`t look very CUTE. Anyways, we were forced to read the whole play, which had SUPER long lines. I asked Bonsov if we could shorten it a bit, but she just gave me a dirty look, so I`m just assuming it`s a no. I mean, why can`t we shorten the dialogues? I bet the parents who would come to the play would fall asleep! So what would be the use of our loitering hard work? We don`t get payment either? How stupid is that?! I was so mad! That`s when I saw the big duffel bag Ms. Karenina gave me. I opened it and inside it was the most amazing costume ever! It was made with beautiful silk and adorned with gold and silver stars and had a pretty eye-mask set with feathers and pearls to go with it! I was so amazed I just stared at it, then grabbed it and changed into it! It looked fantastic! Yoohoo! Mom is calling! Gotta go!
