“NAALE BAA ”

Long before the rise of Bangalore as the “SILICON VALLEY OF INDIA”, Bangalore was a normal city with a not so busy lifestyle. In this city lived a guy named PANKAJ who was a reporter in a local newspaper. 

One day he got a phone from his uncle who lived in the rural area of Bangalore. He sounded very stressed,he was saying“Pankaj,my son,just come as soon as possible please!!”then he cut the phone. He was baffled as he couldn't figure what was happening.

 Why was his uncle was in such a tension???? So finally he decided that he will go and check. So he took a leave for a week and went to his village whose name was PANATHUR.

 When he went there he was shocked to see that almost all the shops were closed and it was just 5 in the evening only then he saw a passer by and he asked him“Excuse me sir will you tell me that why all the shops are closed??” the passerby replied “Are you new to this” so he said yes,then the passerby said something totally blew Pankaj's mind.

The passerby said “ Recently there has been many cases of abducting of young men who were supposedly abducted by a witch who roams in the dark and abduct anyone by calling their name. So when the guy turns,she KIDNAPPS them”.

 This shocked him. When he went to his uncle's house,he told him to come here so that they can shift to another place far from here.

When he asked why?his uncle said “Son,after this witch who abducts young people,I am tensed about your younger cousin brother,so we all are going to ABACHIKKANHALLI”. So Pankaj helped them to pack all there stuff and buy all the other necessities.

 When they were coming back from the market the other day, Pankaj thought that he may like to take a stroll of his ancestral home.

It was a good evening too,wind flowing smoothly,carrying the scent of flowers. He was strolling mesmerizingly when suddenly he thought that someone called his name

“Pankaj”,such a sweet voice he never heard of,but suddently his inner conscience told that something was not write,then suddenly he remembered the story of the passerby“she calls them very sweetly”.

Fearing his life,he started walking, then suddenly out of the blue,SHE came!!!!! When he saw her,he screamed at top of his lungs,

Her face was covered with mud and blood,she smelt like roadkill and she had very long teeths almost like sabres.

Pankaj was screaming and running as fast as he could,then after running for some distance,he turned back to see if she was chasing him or not and by God's grace,he didn't saw her.

Now relieved, Pankaj went to his home.

In the night,suddenly he thought that someone was knocking on the door. He thought that it would be his aunt who usually goes to fill water at this time.

Then he saw that his aunt was sleeping!!

So after gathering a lot of courage,he opened the door.

When he opened the door,there was no one.

After sighing in relief,he turned.

Then suddenly,he saw that there was a dark shadow sitting on the bed.

He was rooted there, then suddenly she jumped on him!!!

After that night,Pankaj couldn't sleep for a week.

Then after returning to Bangalore,he told this story to his senior and he said he liked it a lot.

Then one day..............
