𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓸𝓮𝓼 𝓷𝓮𝔁𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓐𝓵𝓶𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽𝔂

Doctors are appreciated next to the Almighty. They work hard. They sacrifice their lives for the patients. They are respected throughout the world. There are lots of incidents recorded about the dedicated work of doctors. They are not money minded. They just want their patients to be healthy. 

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁

On August 30, 2022, Dr. Govind Nandakumar, who is a highly regarded gastroenterology surgeon at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, was en route to perform an urgent laparoscopic gallbladder operation. However, the traffic flowed in his direction. The Sarjapur-Marathahalli stretch of the route was clogged when he got there. The doctor made the decision to ditch his car and rely on the strength of his legs after realizing that his patient's life would be in danger if the procedure was postponed. For his patient's sake, the surgeon ran three kilometers. 

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁

Soma – a resident of Rupnarayanpur in Burdwan (West) was taken to the BMCH by her father Badal Biswas last week where doctors diagnosed infection in her kidney and pancreas. She was admitted in the Radharani Ward of the hospital. The doctors ascertained that Soma's hemoglobin level had dropped to 5.2 level which had turned her anemic. The blood O+ is not available in the blood bank. Dr Niladri volunteered to donate blood for Soma. He said: "I felt it was my moral responsibility and so I made no delay. My profession taught me to do so. We don't serve the patients just for money and I want the people to understand this."

In COVID doctors shaved their heads to take care of patients. They are frontline workers in a pandemic. They sacrificed their own lives for the patients.

The Iranian doctor, Shirin Rouhani, also lost her life while treating coronavirus patients. Her determination and will power be such that she continued to treat patients till her last breath even when she herself was on IV. She knew she could not rest because of the shortage of doctors and medical workers to cater to the needs of patients.

Another case that shattered millions of hearts across the world was of a nurse who has reportedly taken her own life after being tested positive out of the fear of spreading the disease to others.

They care for us. 

They strived hard during pandemic.

They stayed with us.

They gave us hope to live.

They gave us strength to hold the life.

They quarantined themselves to safeguard their family.

They took care of us. 

When our family stayed away from us.

They were never concerned of their health,

But took care of our health.

They are the heroes during pandemic.

We deserved them nothing but they 

Showered their compassion to the restless soul. 

Death roared in every corner.

Their hearts bleeds when people die,

They worked hard and never want to see death people again.
