My Teacher, My Inspirer
My Teacher, My Inspirer
As the start of TEACHERS' DAY month blooms, I won't let this significant event pass by without mentioning one of my unforgettable mentors by the name of Dr, Anita Bellosillo. She was my teacher in major subjects being a BSEd (Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English) English major student. Since I met her my enthusiasm for becoming an English Teacher fired up. She fueled my dream by her inspiring words of how noble Teaching as a profession is, especially if you are an English Teacher. She made me see how complicated things can become easy through self-discipline. When I started as a student writer in our SchoolPublication, she would give us tips on how to write correctly with the proper articulation and accurate grammar. My love for writing was nurtured by her wisdom-filled reminders and motherly care. In addition, her intellectual humor really admires me of her that it made me want to emulate her. She is a woman of elegance as she dresses up fashionably with class, not a hair out of place. An epitome of success and empowerment is what I won't forget from my former teacher Dr. Anita Bellosillo of the University of San Agustin, Iloio City, Philippines, To her and all the Teachers in the world, "THANK YOU SO MUCH for being a part of your students' lives". Happy Teachers Day dear Educators!
