One day I had to apply for the driving license, I wanted to take a photo urgently as I had the driving test the next day. I did not have a passport size photograph.

I searched for photo studio's around my place for sometime & finally I found a photo studio. The studio had a banner outside which read "Passport size photo in 30 minutes". I went inside, it was afternoon and the person was about to sleep after his lunch. As I went in he greeted me with a warm welcome, I told him I want to get a passport size photograph at the earliest possible time. He initially told me that he can get the developed photo's in the evening time but I pressured him to get copies immediately to which he agreed. He made me sit inside the studio and I was ready for the click. He checked the flash in his camera and he was finding some technical glitch. He kept it near his ears and was constantly checking for some sound. When his intuition said the flash is fine, he asked me to get ready. Ready, steady, cheers & click, sad the flash didn't work.

He took the flash out of the camera and kept it near his ears again. He hit the flash, it wasn't working, he tried & tried and it worked. He connected the flash again to the camera and it was time again ready, steady, cheers & click, oops the flash didn't work. He was so tensed at this point and he told me sorry wait for a few minutes and I will get it fixed. He removed the flash from the camera, kept it near his ears and again was constantly checking some sound. He changed the batteries of the flash and found that none of them were charged from the morning. He made some adjustments checked the flash again, kept it near his ears and he felt it was working fine. The scene came again, it was ready, steady, cheers & click the flash was working fine by then it was more than an hours time i spent with the photographer and finally he caught me in his camera, but I wasn't happy with the pic, I wanted to take my spectacles off and asked him to click another pic. He knows he made me wait for long and agreed to take another pic. I was ready, he was ready too, cheers & click gosh the flash failed again. He started to check his batteries again and by then I was so very frustrated and I didn't want to develop my pic with the specs. He was researching his batteries and the flash, I was in no mood to wait, I stood up and told him I'm leaving and will come back again.

That was it. I didn't turn up to him and it was a day of frustration but what more I observed was a day passer who is not committed at work, all through the day he didn't have any customer and even when he found one he was not able to sell himself. This definitely emphasized the saying "Opportunity knocks the door once and you should be good enough and awake to grab it when it comes".
