Moti the Dog

In a village named Thalipur, a man called Dev lived with his wife Shira. One day, he found an injured puppy on the road and took him home. His wife gave him a bowl of milk. The puppy drank the milk and fell asleep. Dev named him Moti. Dev started training Moti so that he could catch a thief someday. Moti was all grown up and he was excited to catch some thieves. 

One night, a thief sneaked inside the house and wanted to steal some jewelry. Moti started barking and Dev and Shira woke up. The thief started running but Moti jumped at him. Dev called the police and the police arrested the thief and took him to jail. Dev and Shira were happy with Moti but their happiness didn’t last long. 

Again one night, a group of gangsters came into the village. They attacked Dev’s house and frightened him with guns. But Moti stood in between and started barking fiercely. The gangsters tried to shoot Dev but Moti jumped on them and saved Dev’s life. The gangsters got very angry and shot Moti. In the meantime, Shira called the police and the gangsters got arrested. Dev and Shira started crying for Moti. Moti took his last breath in Dev’s lap.
