Motherhood Musings
Shailajamma! Do not turn like that. Sit properly. Bhagyamma instructed me. If at all Gourav has given me such type of instruction I used to fire back with words.
You should have this pregnancy. Then you will know. Gourav and I got married two years before with blessings from both families.
As the second trimester entered, there is so anxious moments in me. It was all about the baby. How the baby will be. How to take care of the baby? And the list continues.
But, when Bhagyamma says something I will follow it. Mom was unable to travel due to knee pains.
Bhagyamma is our maid in the village home. She is close to our family. Even before I have born, She took care of my mother.
Now, She came to our house in the city to take care of me. Gourav feels relaxed as Bhagyamma gives me good companionship in his absence.
She even sings soothing folk songs in the evening times. I fall asleep to her songs.
What can I offer to her for this huge help she is doing to my baby? I have decided to tell my child to call her to Grandma.
