Morning arrived like a promise whispered by universe itself, light spread across thehorizon with quiet confidence ,dissolving the remains of night , touching wet streets making them shimmer like glass , the air was fresh and calm , carrying faint songs of beautiful birds returning to the sky.

Khalid opened his cutie’s chat box when a notification brightened at the top of his new iphone . the chat box was experiencing autumn with blossom red heart flowers. “ I want to meet you” his eyes astonished with embarrassment . where….? His fingers told . when he was dreaming the enjoyed days with her at Australia, the blue tick told him to come to a hotel named “hash ten” at evening . his heart filled with pleasure but he didn’t know about the perfidious trick happened to him .

He lingered before the mirror, curating himself with almost ceremonial precision, as through every detail could compose a flaw less first impression .  A crisp ivory shirt rested neatly against his frame , it’s sleeves folded with deliberate care paired with charcoal trousers that carried a quiet elegance . on his wrist , a sleek watch caught the light in brief , confident flashes , as it keeping time with his restless anticipation. He adjusted his collar , then his cuffs , chasing an image of perfection that always seemed just beyond reach. Each choice of color , each substile  accessory   , was a silent language through which he hoped to speak what words could not .

He arrived in the front of hotel “hash ten” with his benz car. She was sitting on the fourth bench of door taking off her hand bag on the table and drinking little drops of pine apple juice. He sat on his reserved chair , but his evening fractured in one glance . she was not alone , beside her stood a man unknown to him , yet painfully familiar in the ease with which she smiled , in the way of her laughter belonged without effort , time did not shatter , it stilled , in that suspend moment , something with him shifted not into anger , not into sorrow but into the clarity for more profound.

She walked forward him and khalid followed her  not as a man seeking answers but as one who already found them. When she turned , words faltered on her lips but he needed none. With a quiet , unwavering composure , he ended what had already been replaced . and as he stepped away , in peaceably dressed yet strangely un burdened , he realize the twist of truth that no preparation could Forsee – he had not come to impress her but to witness with absolute certainly , that he had already out grown the place he once begged to belong.

For a brief second , he remained still holding together  a heart that had already began to slip through his grasp . ‘my life, my love , my heart” his heart narrowed with gloom.

In the heart of rainy, cold middle night he stood alone as water dipped through the leaves like the slow flicking of a broken memory, each drop reminding him of the love that had shipped away from his hands , the trees around him whispered in a language of rustling sorrow as if they too understand  what it meant to be left  behind, her good byes echoed in his mind louder than thunder repeating itself in every gust of wind that brushed past his empty silence and as he looked into endless green fading into gray rain, he realized the forest was not just around him , it was inside him now, growing wild with grief of love that would never return.
