Memoir
Memoir
Well... It is been a week or so that my Himalayan holiday has ended... I am left with beautiful memories and a longing in my heart to go back ...this longing is something, which I have not fully understood ...someone has rightly said "things work better for you as long as you don't understand them" ignorance here has worked wonders for me….
I was introduced to the majestic Himalayas at a tender age of twelve. For a young girl who has hardly seen much of life...mountains were something no less than a wonderland ….the fog, mist, clouds, pine trees, wild roses, the smell around cast a magic spell on that young mind or shall I say heart ...and from then, the longing began ….the eternal love for the Himalayas....ever since have visited the mountains several times . Every time my love kept growing ... And I am happy that I have passed this yearning to my lovely little daughter who now says “Ma, Bangalore does not smell like Manali” …. hmmm so another young heart has been enchanted and invaded ….and your Majesty, you have done it again... I am left gobsmacked, pondering of. How you manage to conquer so many hearts don't change, is the same ever since you emerged.... but once we see. We change forever...
