Melodies of Pain

Melodies of Pain

In the world of peace, she bloomed bright

a fresh glowing at sight,

petal by petal she shone like

the beams of brilliant gold light.

Grew she up in utmost care

but her heart still was too young,

beauty and grace she had it all,

unseen her heart lurked in darkest pain unsung.

When her lovely petals were plucked apart,

Innocence was its key to start,

her lovely eyes were smeared and dark,

ripped her soul and skin the beast, l

leaving tons of bruises and marks.

Those burnt lips were still and quiet,

those eyes bled the tears of right

drowned she was in depths of pain

unknown, unseen and uncared about.

How lovely would it have been

if all her endmost efforts would be seen,

but now it's all gone as a terrible dream.

And now there's no hope, no more dreams.

The fleeting flash of lightning no longer

served her lonely way,

I wish she were alive to breathe

Maybe just for one more day, just another day.
