"Primarily of the colors, they define different things about you. Each colour is significant of its virtue.

Red could be anger, grey could mean grief, violet could mean disturbance, yellow could be cheerful and so on" said the console in front of Veronica.

Veronica had no clue what Orient Blue was all about. But, she was learning. She was new there and was trying to understand all what’s around her in Orient Blue. One could treat her like a new born.

Her everyday activities detected that she has been improving but she hasn’t been able to do is understand her own feelings. She took the help of the colour masks to guide her about her feelings. What she didn’t know was those masks could override her own feelings.

A happy person after wearing a red mask would burn with anger. A person in depression given a yellow mask would turn happy without notice of the transition. All of this happens as the mask triggers the hidden corresponding emotions inside one.

Veronica was Orient Blue’s experiment. They wanted to test if robots if given an emotion to deal with, if they’d be able to distinguish between the two. In her case, it was being able to tell the difference between her’s and the mask’s.

The experiment had a long way to go, while the scientists at Orient Blue still argued if robots should have emotions at all. And that’s a story for another day in the another world.
