The day my daughter Mary graduated from the University with her Master’s degree in the field of IT in her left hand at the age of 15 years, I was so proud that my girl was so intelligent. She came home with her usual ‘easy’ face, shrugged, and said it was too easy. I told her that I even had a Master’s in the field of IT but at the normal age to graduate, at the age of 24 years! She ignored it and went upstairs. I was still tremendously proud of her. After two to three days, she will be as normal as before and again start communicating with me.

After 10 days or so, she still didn’t talk to me and just spent her time on the phone talking and on the laptop. She did it for so long that even at night, I could still hear the sounds of “tick-tick-tick-tick” going on. In the evening, finally, my daughter came down, a bit restless from her face and looking a bit nervous but I thought that it was okay for her to be nervous as she was young and everything was moving so fast. Later, in the kitchen, she came to me, stood beside me, smiled at me, and started talking about things like how my life was going, what did I do when she was upstairs, and things like that. At that very moment, I thought that it had taken eleven days for her to get normal/usual, but it was worth it.

After two minutes, her face got a bit matter-of-fact type and a bit nervous, and then she said the rest of the sentence quickly, “I got a job! Now I will start making a website and web browser for a company named WES.’’

My chest was filled with pride that my girl was going to do such a challenging job. I then gave her a pat on the back and said, “ Well done my genius girly-mirly, I am so proud of you, your efforts have paid off.” Mary replied and said, “Thank You, Mom!” Mary also told me the salary, by whispering in my ear, but then I told her to not worry about the salary at this age, be positive and work as hard as she can and then leave a blazing trail which no one could ever possibly follow.

On her first day, she told me to leave her at the nearest bus stop, right opposite our home. She said that I would take a bus to work from there. Before leaving the house, she asked me to give her my blessings and so I did. Then I dropped her off at the bus stop and came back to my home.

Then one day, I decided to go and check out where she works and what her workplace looks like from the outside. So, I took out my car and went to see her workplace at the address she sent me two weeks ago. I entered the address on my Google Maps and drove straight to what I expected was going to be a modern skyscraper. What came next shook me, I was looking at Mary’s old school. For a second, I thought that I had come to the wrong place but when I saw the name of the place, it matched with the short form, WES, Wisdom Elementary School! I was confused and shocked. Was what I was thinking true, what does this mean?
