The writer is a lone warrior. The paper is his battle-field. The pen is his sword. He is determined to win.

But today he is up against the worst enemy....his own mind! He is fighting for the right words. Not one suits for what he wants to say. Yet he is persistent. He is arduously searching for words! The deadline is approaching!

But it seems like words are running away! He feels like a lunatic chasing a mirage of words!

In the end, he gives up. Shuts the sword. Angrily, thrusts the battle-field in the drawer. He is anguished with the futile efforts. Frustrated, he goes off to sleep.

But this is not the end. This is where the master-piece begins!

Words... words come to him...running, showering, pouring even!!!

Is it a dream?!

No.. no!!!! There..there they are..they are really coming..from the sky!!

He jolts wide awake. Frantically starts scribbling.

Words are now rushing..forming sentences..and even paragraphs! Each word fits in perfectly where it has to.

He is scribbling..full speed. He doesn't want a single word to slip. His pulse is racing. His handwriting is now close to that of a doctor's. Little cramps erupting in his fingers. But he is not going to stop until the words stop! And finally they do stop. He dozes off.

The battle field is covered in blue. The sword lies there.. exhausted.

The master-piece is complete!

The words win!!
