News from China on spread of Coronavirus had already started coming in from end of January just after Chinese new year. In India people were busy with day to day routine with bit of worry how China will deal with it. There were many questions and even fear in everybody's mind what if it becomes a reality in India. February went fine with mixed emotions. When people started traveling back to their hometown, that was the beginning of spread of virus to almost all countries. Some countries took it lightly and some seriously. Thankfully Indian government took right decision just before time to control situation and declared 21days lockdown.

There was unrest in first week as nobody was used to be at home 24*7. House started to look like a personal space. Mornings were quiet with background sounds of chirping of birds, sun shining bright, stars started to become visible in the night sky. Pollution levels started to decrease with second week of lockdown due to shutdown of factories and limited vehicular moments. This state of nature has come back after 30-40 years as per our old generation who has experienced a quiet and serene environment at a young age. As per NASA ozone layer has started to heal. Lockdown is an opportunity to retrospect what have we humans being doing all these many years which has created an imbalance between flora and fauna. Lockdown experience should be taken as an example to combat rising pollution levels across the globe. Lessons learned should not get wasted for generations to come.
