Lockdown Blues

Arup Mitra. You asking me to gift a few of my stories that you read on the Facebook is as much a gift to me. Writing is a lonely job, with only the characters you are creating or re creating, for companions. And they are high strung, clamouring for attention and a bigger role in the story. They are the stars, not much different from the real filmy ones, without them there is no story and they know it. Exasperating!

Your ask is validation for a writer, for me and my characters, with no immediate plans of publishing.

What a wonderful innovation to gift thoughts to other creative minds! Wonderful thinkers who are contributing with ideas to help locked down professionals working from home and facing new realities and challenges in the times of Covid. 

I am sure when I tell this story, I will be asked as usual if the story is true. I hope they do. Because what is a true story that is not stranger than fiction.
