Lockdown 2100

"Yeah! It is new year 2100! But why are the holographic crackers not bursting?" said the manager of the AI department of India to the others. Suddenly all the bloom and all the gleam was over. It was absolutely dark everywhere. The manager shouted at his workers," Hey! What have you all done to the holographic panels and to the electricity?" The software engineers stood with a dull face at the corner. The next day in the morning there was a huge shock around India. All the robot worker were stopped, all the automatic flying cars, flying trucks were stopped, the whole system under Artificial Intelligence stopped working. Even the rays gates, used to prevent robots and cars to crash into their house and save them without any harm, were stopped. The ray was very dangerous for the people. If someone comes in contact with that for 1 second, he or she will definitely die. Now comes the holographic police. They are nothing but holograms of police who perform the same work as the police. But if the police find some mischief they may identify the person and report it to the automatic jail. Automatic jail is the same as normal jails. But the only difference is that when any mischief is indicated by the holographic police, and the signal is sent, it automatically arises to the location, identifies the person and then imprisons them or him. Nowadays the people do not walk on the road. They use the flying dress which helps them to fly in the sky. Moreover, there was a secret, which is no more secret is that the air contains the whole details of all the people of India. That is why nowadays the usage of original crackers have been strictly banned as the pollutants can react on the air and spoil all the information and also nowadays natural fresh air without any details are used for making electricity as it would cost very less.

However, due to the situation, the prime minister decided to declare lockdown all over India. No one was out of the house. Just after the declaration, all the people in India were provided with a text message. It was such that all the people were in a condition to cry off. They were messaged that all their bank accounts were hacked and all their money was taken off from their bank accounts. For this reason, the government appointed 2 well-educated people to solve the case. One was a software engineer and the other was a mechanical engineer. Both had once solved a cyber hacking case before but not as big as this. They were given a well-maintained room to stay and plan till they solved the case.

On the 2nd of January, while crunching a biscuit, the mechanical engineer asked, "What do you think? Who can do this?" The software engineer answered, "I'm sure that it is done by a country or a group of people consisting of more than 1 crore scientists. This is because if we have a rough calculation, we will see that the total money in our India is almost 50 trillion crores and one single person if takes such a big amount, then he or she might be locked up in jail and also can be hanged. But if it is distributed among a large number of people then the value becomes normal. And also the country might be one of the neighbours of India because the air cannot carry the details so far like to Australia." Then the mechanical engineer replied," Then we can hack the IP Address given to the air and locate it." The software engineer said," Yes but how can we run the system without a power supply?" The mechanical engineer said," See according to a past study if we move the rod of the dc motor in a direction, it produces electricity. For that, we will have to fetch a big dc motor, a rope, a cycle, a bamboo stick or any other such like that and a big wire. First, we will have to make the structure like a windmill. Then we will have to connect the wire to the dc motor. Meanwhile, we will have to fix the rope with the rod to one side and fix the other side to the wheels of the cycle forming a circle. The cycle must be made to stand with the wheels above the ground. Finally, we will have to cycle. Also, don't forget to connect the wire to the device or appliance for the electric supply." The software engineer replied, "Ok. Everything will be arranged accordingly." 

By the evening all the arrangements were made accordingly. Then the mechanical engineer was made to cycle. Finally, after a long process, the IP Address was hacked. But the meaning wasn't clear. They tried to translate it. After some time the software engineer traced the IP Address status. The status showed that the last address was Lahore, Pakistan. Then the news was sent to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister decided to declare to make a blast a Lahore, Pakistan. But the two engineers stopped him from doing so, as it may not be that the people are doing it. Instead, the engineers said to the Prime Minister, "It would be better if we get a police force wearing normal dresses and carrying a rifle, to go and help us investigate." The Prime Minister agreed at once.

The next day the two engineers packed their bags and set out for Lahore. By the time they reached a big forest at Lahore, the software engineer noticed in his tab that the location was being sensed there. There he found a cluster of the baobab tree. Among them one was strange. It had a round hole inside on it which is very unusual in these trees. The mechanical engineer went nearer. The software engineer noticed a bit more and shouted," Hey friend stop there! Don't go far ahead! There is an invisible object which can cut you off!" The mechanical engineer stopped. The software engineer asked the police force to stand around the tree with their guns raised. The software engineer carefully changed the direction of the dagger and entered through the hole. At the next moment, the mechanical engineer entered through the hole. After they went through the hole, they slipped into a room. It had full of computers and some people working on them. "These are the people who were kidnapped from the AI global meeting. But who is the mastermind of all this?", said the mechanical engineer. Everyone at once looked at them with a sad face and then again back to work. The two engineers then asked a person about the mastermind. The person whispered," He is sitting in the next room." The mechanical engineer, fortunately, had a folding ladder with him. He placed the ladder down the tree hole. Then they somehow managed to escape them from there. After everything, they went to the next room, where the mastermind was. They were fortunate that the mastermind was sleeping on his chair with his legs on the table. If he was up, he could have attacked them with any AI object. Meanwhile, the mechanical engineer tied the mastermind's legs and hands. The software engineer re-programmed the system so that everything returns as it was. Then they managed to pick the mastermind up and took him out of his place and handed him over to the police. 

After that, they returned to their homeland safely with the escaped people and the culprit. The culprit was taken to jail and the engineers were dropped at their house. All was bright like before. On the next day of their success, the prime minister announced that a special prize will be awarded to the engineers for their great step in helping the country to regain its beauty again and also for catching the culprit. But several questions still disturbed the minds of the engineers. Why was this done? Also why he chose Lahore? Moreover, why did he do everything such that he could be caught and punished? Was he a psychological patient?
