Letter of Gratitude to that little girl who was so eager to grow

Dear Ketaki, 

You are 23 now, all grown and adult. You always wondered how you would look when you are older. I assure you, baby, there are tons of people who are in awe just by seeing you, not because of your looks but because of your achievements. You are finally possessing that aura where people are mesmerized by you, and you have finally taken control of your life. You are confident and perfect, the exact version you visualized of yourself, but better, and you know how you have achieved that? By surviving every day, by not giving up, by believing in yourself. 

I would like to thank you for your patience, kindness towards all, and your courage, which you showed in your life. To come outside a toxic environment where you were bullied left and right, people made fun of you every second, isolated you, and you were used as a punching bag for their fun. I know how much it hurt you felt like falling into a pit full of darkness where there was no way back up, but you found the light, which you followed and stood high on your grounds again, much higher. You left those people behind and started your own new life, lonely, but you chose yourself over others. The whole world still thinks you ran away, but you are never bothered now what people will say or think as long as you are at peace with yourself.

Ketaki, you became mature at a very young age, self-aware and strong. You never said bad things to others, not even the people who hurt you, and most importantly, you never changed yourself for others, and I am very grateful for that. You are unique, very special and perfect. The world sees you as perfect. Thank you for fighting the toughest battles alone with strength so high, for showing patience, and for loving yourself. Because you walked strongly, this 23-year-old version of yourself can see in the mirror happily, smile and can say proudly you did your best so far, you will go even further happily and with strength. 

By the way, you are a lawyer now (almost, the results are awaited, but you will crack that as well).
