Ram was the only student of class VII, who's handwriting was very bad. In the examination, the only reason to get fewer marks was his bad handwriting. Teachers were not even able to recognize what he wants to write. This seems that he has not practiced handwriting during his childhood, said his class teacher to his parents.

Then Ram's mother practiced handwriting at home starting from the English alphabets. But Ram was not showing his interest to learn from alphabets. He used to tell his mother that it's Nursery class language," I don't want to learn this good writing at this stage. This makes me feel ashamed".

Ram's mother was very worried regarding how to teach him good handwriting when he is not at all interested! Then she thought of a plan.

One day after coming back from school, Ram saw her mother is practicing handwriting. He laughed at her and said, "Mummy, why are you practicing handwriting, is this your age?". Her mother replied last time I have sent a letter to your grandfather and he was telling that he was not able to read because he found my handwriting was very bad. And day by day they are getting older with increasing eye power, so, good and clear letters are needed for his proper visuality. That's why I am practicing it now so that in my next letter, he can understand what I have written.

Ram was shocked and asked her mother, "Mummy, if I will not write in good handwriting, you and Papa will not be able to read my letters during your old age na!" Also because of my bad handwriting, my teachers are also not getting exactly what I mean to write.

His mother smiled at him and said, " Yes and that's why I am telling you repeatedly to practice good handwriting daily". Again Ram asked, "Mummy, now I am in class VII, isn't it too late to start?" Her mother again answered him that, "each of that moment is crucial when you realize your weak points and try to rectify it through regular and repeated practice".

Ram understood and followed his mother's words. He promised his mother and teachers to practice handwriting daily so that he can convert his bad handwriting to good. He continued this practice for 3-4 months. In the coming examination, his handwriting has completely changed and converted into a beautiful one. All his teachers were very happy and he secured good marks in that examination.
