King Frog lived in a well with his family and relatives. Once they revolted against him but he was able to persuade them with gifts. In this way, he saved his thrones but lost his trust in other frogs. He decided to teach them a lesson and hence went to the snake living under a tree nearby the well. He jumped out of the well with the help of iron bars.

"I want to be friends with you." he told the snake.

"Friends? But are born enemies." snake exclaimed.

"Yes but I have an idea that would benefit us both. For that you'll need to live in the well." King Frog said.

"Is there water in it?" snake asked.

"Yes but it is very shallow. Anyways there is a hole above the water level, you can live there." King Frog replied.

Snake started living in the well and whenever King would ask him, he would eat his relatives who revolted against him. Time passed by and one day, snake went to the king and said, "You are a good friend and so am I. You have provided me with delicious food without much effort while I handed your relatives and untrusted ministers but now only you and your family is left."

King understood that he had fallen into his own trap. "Your concern is valid. Let me go to other wells and from there invite others frogs to come and live with us."

Snake agreed.

Before dawn, the King Frog left the well and never returned back.
