Kindness

It was a shiny summer day.A girl of eight named Flora was busy in setting her eyebrows, lips and her hair.She was as beautiful as any princess in a fairy tale. Her mother looked at her adorably & kissed on her forehead.She came out with her little princess to say goodbye for her tuition classes.As she was on her way to classes she realized that somebody was following her. As she turned, she saw her neighbour with whom she was completely familiar.He said that he has been sent by her mother to tell her that her classes have been cancelled.A glow in her face reflected as if she was wishing for this to happen.He gave her some chocolates & said that since her mother was not at home so she wanted him to accompany her for a little while.

As she stepped inside his home,she saw a woman waiting for her.As she saw the child, she held her in her arms for about two minutes.She was her neighbour's wife. She cooked special meals for her & played with her the whole day.

In the evening she asked her mother where she had been the whole day. She replied her 'I was at home only,my darling.They have just lost their only little daughter & his wife had begged me for a day with you, since it was their daughter's birthday today.So I just gave them my princess for a day' & then she continued her cooking. That incident left a lasting impression on that little child's heart & she realized that because of a queen she was a princess.
