Journey : Heartbreak to Healing
Journey : Heartbreak to Healing
“A breakup is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken than hurt yourself trying to fix it.”
Why do we need someone to heal ourselves?
Why are we emotionally dependent on others?
Why do we hurt so much when someone leaves us?
Why is a breakup so painful?
How can we move on and enjoy our own company?
Today, on July 7th, 2024, I am writing through my full emotions and feelings. Right now, I am facing the pain of separation. Exactly seven days ago, I broke up with the person who was my entire life. He was my first love and last chance. He was the center of my life. We were together for the last two years, and suddenly, everything seemed to come to an end.
My body started trembling when I heard the news. At that moment, I didn't know what to do or how to react. I just started crying and felt like I was dead inside. I was just a living dead body at that time. Then I started taking painkillers to heal myself. I know it was a crazy step.
Then I asked for help. I shared the news with my family and friends. They were also sad to hear it. They tried to make me feel alive and helped me in every way they could. At that time, I realized that they were my true supporters and well-wishers.
Very soon, I accepted that he was gone and would never come back. After that, my healing process started. Daily, I began telling myself that I deserve better than him. I deserve to be loved. I started self-talk whenever I felt low and stuck in my life.
After seven days of my breakup, I learned that self-love is everything. I gave my 200% to that relationship. Now I realize that everything happens for a reason. A breakup is painful for everyone, but we have the strength to face it.
After facing this hurtful breakup, I learned many lessons that I want to share with everyone facing this painful situation:
1. Time is the biggest healer in every situation.
2. Acceptance is the first step of the healing process.
3. Family and friends are the ultimate supporters in everyone's life.
4. Do not attach yourself to anyone who controls your emotions and mood.
5. Only you are the center point of your life, nothing else.
6. God is protecting you from future pain by giving you a little pain in the present.
7. Trust the universe's plan and move on.
8. Focus on your dreams and hobbies to become a better version of yourself.
9. Our efforts are precious, so don't waste them on anyone who doesn't deserve you.
10. Karma is everything.
If you are also facing this kind of situation, trust me, you are strong enough to face it. If I can do it, you can too. Give it time and trust in patience. Don't worry; everything will be alright one day. You deserve better and deserve to be loved. No matter how hard it is, I am always with you, and we will bounce back together.
For now, just take care of yourself first.
