It is depressing to see them. The school principal looked at the sheet and said it again.
In the total school, three hundred students signed up for an Essay writing competition. No one has chosen the "Independence" topic from our list.
He further added his insights on this competition.

Why do you think Students are not interested to write about Independence anymore? Maths teacher asked.
Maybe it became boring to them. Someone replied.
Boring? Is living and breathing boring? How brutal it is not to have gratitude toward the freedom fighters? What are we becoming? I murmured to myself.
