I See Poetry
I See Poetry
Emily, you know poems are not just written words, they are soft taps of reassurance for everyone that it's okay to be imperfect, unique and misunderstood. They are the most vulnerable form of art as well as the best antidote to an infected heart. When the zephyrs ushers in emotions, forcing the closed windows open and perch on the windowsill composing a cacophony of pages rattling, dewy ink sprinkling all over, they form an image in front of my eyes "A Poetry". It's a vision to my eyes, I just don't write, read or feel Poetry I can see it through my naked eyes, like as if one can see the abstracts.
I see Poetry when a new mother is born as she lulls her bud to sleep in a craddle of mahogany. I see poetry when a father and his moony holding finger walks along the bay catching fireflies. I see Poetry when the florist smiles a sunflower smile when he vends a boquet of emotional scent to a kin who is ready yet nervous to confess his heart out. I see Poetry when a heart of crystal shatters into pieces and the flowers lay dead crumbled to the floor. I see Poetry when two hands in amor conjoins in heat of passion and eyes like diamonds look at the stars whistling, where the moon sheepishly hide behind the dark clouds.
I see Poetry crackling like fire from the woody hands of protest and rage fueling this fire. I see Poetry when the aftermath arrives holding the hands of catastrophe where the victims weep. From the peek-a-boo of the sun behind the hills at east to the dark night of stars showering, from the green carpet of Diana to the blue ceiling of Zeus and to the vast eternity of Poseidon, all I can see is Poetry, not just words. I as a poet capture them and poemify these things.
