Heaven On Earth

Heaven On Earth

Tired and exhausted from the trek. I sat at one place to rest ...That place certainly promised a great view ...A snow-capped peak to look up, surrounded by beautiful ranges, which displayed the colors of early spring ...And all of this under a clear blue sky. What a bliss...My tired body was getting its required fuel but the soul. Oh! It does not understand tiredness. It only longs, so to satisfy that I lifted my exhausted body and trekked down a little more to reach to the side of a nearby stream...

Half an hour or so into my retreat... Something just passed by me. Something white. More than one in number... Little did I knew that the beauty, which was going to unfold in front of my eyes would be so ethereal, that it would consume my entire being...

To get a clearer view. I took off the shades ...Those whites were fluttering. And numbered in thousands, they were all over the place... As if angels in disguise, have come from heaven to bless me... I pinched myself to check on reality...Oh yes, they were real...Thousands of white butterflies all around me... I was trembling, almost exploding with joy... My fatigue just vanished...Minutes after I found myself running and chasing them in a childlike manner.....

If at all there is something called heaven...I experienced, it right there...
